Stay warm! Here's a message from Animal Abuse Investigator Jimmie Vann:
"During this frigid weather, please take every precaution to ensure your outside pets are either brought inside, or provided with proper warmth which may include heat lamps. Especially if you choose to tie a dog, you must provide shelter from the elements.
Please bring them inside if at all possible, but if you can't, then fill your dog’s house with hay or cedar shavings so they can keep warm.
Walker County residents nor their pets are accustomed to these frigid temps. Please help those that can’t help themselves!"
