Tuesday, Investigative Captain Darrell Mote received an incredible award. Captain Mote has been named the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the American Legion! Anyone that knows Captain Mote knows this is well deserved and well earned.
To prove our point, he accepted this award at work-- just hours after he broke his ankle apprehending a fleeing suspect. Well deserved!
