Congressman Robert Aderholt hosted an inauguration watch party in his Washington, D.C. office on January 21, 2025. The event accommodated approximately 150 people who could not attend the inauguration in person after it was moved indoors. Attendees came from various locations including Fort Payne, Florence, Tuscaloosa, and Cullman to witness Donald Trump being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.

Following the ceremony inside the Capitol Rotunda, Congressman Aderholt shared his thoughts: “The sun is out here in Washington D.C. and I think that’s indicative of a new day in America with Donald Trump now the commander in chief. There is just so much excitement here in Washington. I just left and walked over from seeing the swearing-in and it was a tremendous crowd and he was warmly welcomed. So, we’re just very excited about the executive orders that he’ll be signing and we look forward to the golden era coming back to America.”

Video footage of this event is available for viewing.
