Congressman Robert Aderholt has been appointed as the chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. In addition to this role, he will serve on the Defense and Agriculture Subcommittees.
“I’m honored to continue to serve on the House Appropriations Committee and to continue to chair the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee,” Congressman Aderholt stated. “As chairman of the subcommittee responsible for the largest non-defense spending in the annual discretionary budget, I will remain dedicated to scrutinizing expenditures and eliminating waste within the subcommittee's jurisdiction.”
Aderholt also welcomed Congressman Dale Strong from Alabama as a new member of the Appropriations Committee. He remarked, “I also want to welcome my Alabama colleague Rep. Dale Strong to the Appropriations Committee. I know he will be a great asset, especially in his role on the Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee.”
The leadership of Congressman Aderholt is expected to focus on ensuring accountability and efficiency in government spending through careful allocation of federal resources.
