Congressman Robert B. Aderholt has expressed concern over the recent anti-ICE protests in Albertville, Alabama. In a statement, he emphasized his commitment to law enforcement and community safety.

"As a staunch advocate for the rule of law and the safety of our communities, I find the recent anti-ICE protests in Albertville deeply concerning," Aderholt stated.

He acknowledged the importance of peaceful assembly and free speech but criticized any rhetoric that could undermine U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) efforts. "While I respect the right to peaceful assembly and free speech, any rhetoric that threatens or undermines the essential work of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is unacceptable," he said.

Aderholt highlighted ICE's role in addressing violent crime by illegal immigrants, emphasizing its importance in maintaining community safety. "ICE plays a critical role in targeting violent criminals who are in the country illegally, ensuring that dangerous individuals do not pose a threat to our communities," he noted.

The congressman also referenced President Trump's commitment to immigration enforcement through legislative actions such as signing the Laken Riley Act. "By making the Laken Riley Act the first bill signed under his administration, President Trump shows he is committed to immigration enforcement and seeking justice for the bereaved families of Americans lost to lawlessness at the border," Aderholt concluded.
