I’m the Machine Shop Instructor at the Phil Campbell  campus of NWSCC. If you have a child or know someone who is interested in Machining or welding please send them my way. Summer Registration at NWSCC is already here. We have many scholarship and grant opportunities and probably one of the biggest benifits I know of is the duel enrollment programs. If you are a Sophomore or Junior in HS you can come to School for FREE during the summer and can get college Classes completed early and did I mention for free. Anyone who is for sure wanting to be a welder and plans on attending NWSCC, if you come this summer you can get your Minor finished and you would only have to focus on Welding in the fall. If you are interested Machining then you could get a head start. This is a great opportunity for anyone in High School or anyone who wants to start a new career in a growing field.
