Local students representing Marion County School System’s Dual Enrollment Welding and Winfield City High students participated in the Welding competition at Haleyville Center of Technology (Battle of the Skills) Thursday. Left to right is Shelton Seaman (Hamilton High) placing 2nd in Oxy-Fuel cutting, Sawyer Peterson (Hamilton High) placing 1st in Aluminum welding, Bevill State Dual Enrollment Welding Instructor Mike Reed, Hayden Channell (Winfield High) placing 1st in SMAW, Carson Swinney (Hackleburg High), and Riley Smith (Marion County HS).
