On 07Nov2022, deputies responded to 100 Town and Country Trailer Park just outside the city limits of Russellville, Alabama of a report of a father beating his daughter. On arrival, deputies observed broken beer bottles outside, items that had been recently cut up, a broken Nintendo Switch, and blood droplets outside the mobile home door.
Deputies forced entry into the residence where they found the home in disarray. The TV had been destroyed, laptops crushed and ripped apart, kitchen items scattered all over the place, children’s bedroom furniture thrown around, and clothes everywhere. Deputies found Christopher Andrighetti (CA) hiding in a bedroom closet. Deputies quickly took him into custody. Andrighetti was covered in blood from self-inflicted lacerations to the arms and waist. EMS treated CA on scene.
Deputies began searching for the two child victims and found one hiding in closet inside the residence. Deputies also located the other child. The oldest child was 14yrs old and the daughter to CA. The 14yr old began stating that she had told her mother about a social media account that CA had and that she suspected her father of having an affair. When CA found this out, he began to violently beat her. He struck the daughter with his fist, a shower curtain rod, a piece of wood, shoved her to the floor, slapped her, and threw items including glass bottles at her. CA then told her to clean up the mess and when she went to get trash bags from the kitchen – saw the front door open and ran to a neighbor’s house.
The victim had obvious injuries that required her to be taken to a local hospital. CA was arrested for Domestic Violence 1st- Assault, Child Abuse, and Domestic Violence -Criminal Mischief 1st. He is currently being held at the Franklin County Detention Center. He is currently awaiting a Bond hearing with a Franklin County Judge.
