Census Bureau: 76.3 percent of people in Shelby County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 213,432 citizens living in Shelby County in 2019, 162,807 were old enough to vote as of Feb. 11, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 85,095 of those people were female and 77,712 were male.
