Dodge City Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Dodge City Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Alabama lost 589 soldiers in the Korean war and 741 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 699 Al Highway 69 S, Hanceville will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Howard F. Paddock Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Dodge City Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Dodge City Ace Hardware is located at 699 Al Highway 69 S, Hanceville, Alabama. This location is owned by Jerrold O. Russell and represented by Joey Parchman.
