On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Ragland High School standout Sammie Day-Jones’ current college team, the North Alabama Lions, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Memphis Tigers.
The game took place at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium against Detroit Mercy Titans.
