On Sunday, April 6, former Ragland High School standout Sammie Day-Jones’ current college team, the North Alabama Lions, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lipscomb Bisons.

The game took place at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their sixth matchup against the Bisons this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Cathi Maynard Park against Austin Peay Lady Govs.
