Sheriff Murray and Captain Freddie Turrentine have presented a check for $30,100 to Timothy Deckard, the director of the St. Clair County Youth Ranch. The funds were raised through the 2025 Bass Tournament.

The donation was made possible by the efforts of fishermen, fisherwomen, volunteers, and community members who participated in and supported the event.

“Thank you to everyone whose hard work and generosity made this achievement possible,” said organizers.

The Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches is an organization that provides support and care for children in need across Alabama.
