Sheriff Billy J. Murray swore in the newest correction officers for St. Clair County in Pell City on June 1.
The ceremony welcomed several individuals to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, marking the beginning of their service as correction officers. The new officers are Evan Crow, Teryn Nash, Brandon Beck, Adam Al-Ahmad, Ryan Brasher, Jennifer Cala, Latasha Whisenant, Jessie Moore, Brandon Jones, and Selena Godoy.
“Congratulations and welcome to the Sheriff’s Office family!” said Sheriff Murray during the event.
The addition of these officers aims to strengthen staffing at county detention facilities and enhance public safety operations within St. Clair County.
Correctional officer positions are critical roles within law enforcement agencies across Alabama and nationwide. These roles involve overseeing individuals who have been arrested or are serving sentences within local jails.
