U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt, who represents Alabama’s 4th district, used his social media platform on October 8, 2025, to address a range of political topics, including public health and international conflict.
In one post from October 8, Aderholt called for swift action by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), stating: “I urge HHS to quickly expedite its thorough investigation into the harmful effects and adverse events associated with mifepristone, as already promised by Secretary Kennedy. We must protect women from the dangers and serious risks of chemical abortion.”
Earlier the same day, Aderholt tagged several congressional colleagues in a tweet: @RepMaryMiller @RepBrecheen @RepHarshbarger @RepBarryMoore @RepMoolenaar @RepMarkAlford @RepAndyBiggsAZ @RepSheriBiggs @RepWebster @RepRileyMoore @TXRandy14 @RepPfluger @RepMichaelGuest @RepKeithSelf @RepBobOnder @RepRussFulcher @RepBrianBabin @RepMessmer @RepNateMoran
Later that evening, he commented on the possibility of peace after ongoing global conflicts, expressing gratitude to former President Trump: “This is great news and I pray it comes to fruition and there can be peace after two years of war. Thank you to President Trump for making ending wars around the world a priority in your Administration.”
Aderholt has served in Congress since 1997, succeeding Tom Bevill. He previously held office in the Alabama House of Representatives. Born in Haleyville, Alabama, in 1965, Aderholt still resides there. He holds a BA from Birmingham–Southern College and a JD from Samford University.
