Robert Aderholt, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 4th district since 1997, has recently shared his views and experiences through a series of tweets. Born in Haleyville, Alabama, Aderholt has been active in politics for several decades and continues to engage with both national and local issues.

On June 13, 2025, Aderholt addressed the ongoing tensions involving Israel and Iran. He stated that “Israel has a right to defend itself from those who wish it harm and its extinction.” He emphasized that the recent strikes were a consequence of Iran’s actions rather than Israel’s provocations, attributing this situation to “years of appeasement.”

Later on the same day, Aderholt expressed pride in showcasing talent from his constituency at the U.S. Capitol. He tweeted about meeting Natalie Jones, “our Congressional Art Competition winner from Grant, AL,” whom he first met at an awards ceremony in April.

In another tweet posted on June 13, 2025, Aderholt reflected on the upcoming celebration of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. He highlighted “250 years of service, sacrifice, and unwavering defense of freedom” and mentioned his op-ed for @256Today where he discusses the legacy and contributions of those who have served in the Army.

Aderholt holds a BA from Birmingham–Southern College and a JD from Samford University. His career began in the Alabama House of Representatives before transitioning to his current role in Congress.
