U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt, who represents Alabama’s 4th district, has recently highlighted efforts to support rural hospitals and celebrated a significant investment in North Alabama through posts on his social media account.
On December 9, 2025, Aderholt wrote, “I am proud to be joined by the Alabama Delegation in a letter to CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, in support to push to strengthen rural hospitals through wage index reform. The hospitals in the most vulnerable rural areas would gain the most from this change, helping to keep https://t.co/1dFJRQMPUh”. In a subsequent post on the same day, he tagged several members of the Alabama congressional delegation: @SenTuberville @SenKatieBritt @RepBarryMoore @repscfigures @RepMikeRogersAL @RepDaleStrong @USRepGaryPalmer @RepTerriSewell.
Later that evening, Aderholt commented on economic developments in his region: “Great to hear the news of this major investment for North Alabama. Aderholt has represented Alabama’s 4th District in Congress since 1997 after succeeding Tom Bevill. He previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives and was born in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965. He is an alumnus of Birmingham–Southern College and Samford University.
