Robert Aderholt, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 4th district since 1997, recently shared several updates on his official Twitter account regarding education policy changes, state developments, and local election participation.
On May 18, 2026, Aderholt commented on the expansion of Pell Grant eligibility by the U.S. Department of Education: “It is great to hear that @usedgov has finalized the expansion of Pell Grant eligibility through Workforce Pell Grants. Aderholt has represented Alabama’s 4th District in Congress since succeeding Tom Bevill in 1997 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives. He was born in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965 and continues to reside there with his family. Aderholt holds a BA from Birmingham–Southern College (1987) and a JD from Samford University (1990).
