Robert Aderholt, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 4th district since 1997, recently shared a series of updates on his official Twitter account highlighting legislative efforts and their potential impact on Alabama.

On July 15, 2025, Aderholt announced his support for legislation aimed at bolstering American energy and mineral independence. He stated, “I am proud to support @USRepGaryPalmer and co-sponsor the Securing America’s Mineral Supply (SAMS) Act. This legislation unleashes American energy and restores U.S. control over critical mineral production by codifying executive orders from President Trump.”

The following day, July 16, Aderholt highlighted a new legislative initiative he believes will have significant benefits for Alabama residents. He wrote, “The One Big Beautiful Bill impacts Alabama by delivering the largest tax cut in history, higher wages, higher take-home pay, and much more.”

On July 17, Aderholt tagged several congressional colleagues in a brief tweet that included only a link: “https://t.co/fZK2bccUgW @RepMoskowitz @RepRyanZinke @RepJimmyPanetta”

Aderholt has represented Alabama’s 4th district in Congress since succeeding Tom Bevill in 1997. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives. Born in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965 and currently residing there at age 57, Aderholt holds degrees from Birmingham–Southern College and Samford University.
