U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt, who represents Alabama’s 4th district, recently shared updates on economic investment and congressional activities through a series of posts on social media.
On April 16, 2026, Aderholt highlighted a major development for northwest Alabama, stating, “The announcement of a $2 billion investment in northwest Alabama is more than a milestone. It is a generational opportunity that will help reshape north Alabama’s economy for decades to come. This happened because people believed in this community, and because we made a”.
Later that day, he discussed his participation in an agriculture subcommittee hearing with the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. In his post dated April 16, 2026, Aderholt wrote: “Great to speak with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, @SecRollins, during today’s @HouseAppropsGOP Agriculture Subcommittee hearing on the FY27 budget. Aderholt has represented Alabama’s 4th District in Congress since 1997 after succeeding Tom Bevill and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives. He was born in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965 and currently resides there. His educational background includes a BA from Birmingham–Southern College (1987) and a JD from Samford University (1990).
