Robert Aderholt, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 4th district since 1997, has recently used his social media platform to highlight Republican legislative priorities and share his views on current judicial matters.
On January 13, 2026, Aderholt posted about joining fellow Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. Pfluger to introduce a new legislative initiative: “Great to join @RepublicanStudy Chairman @RepPfluger to announce the framework for a second reconciliation bill that is focused on rebuilding the American family, homeownership, energy costs, and health care. Republicans are working to deliver for the American family, and https://t.co/Qog8OA7xiW”.
Later that day, he commented on a case before the Supreme Court regarding gender participation in sports: “I am praying for a favorable ruling in the SCOTUS case and urge the Supreme Court to uphold commonsense. Biological men should not compete in women’s sports. Protecting women’s sports should not be controversial.”
On January 14, 2026, Aderholt provided an update on congressional appropriations work: “The House continues to fulfill our appropriations work, and this package delivers more America First results through economic growth, stronger national security, and protects taxpayer dollars. https://t.co/jxPXEXWCVQ”.
Aderholt has represented Alabama’s 4th District in Congress since replacing Tom Bevill in 1997. He previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives and holds degrees from Birmingham–Southern College (BA) and Samford University (JD). Born in Haleyville, Alabama in 1965, he continues to reside there.
