Ragland High School standout Sammie Day-Jones’ college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Wednesday, March 26

On Wednesday, March 26, former Ragland High School standout Sammie Day-Jones’ current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game took place at Florence Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Crimson Tide this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium against Lipscomb Bisons.
