SAT scores in St Clair County School District showed there were fewer 12th-grade students ready for college in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Alabama Department of Education.

Amongst all 12th-grade students in St Clair County School District, 87.8% were considered ready to graduate, compared to 86.4% the year before.

Of the three grades assessed for college and career readiness, 12th-grade students stood out with the best performance in the district, with 87.8% reaching the readiness benchmark.

Throughout the district, Moody High School had the best performance, with an average college readiness of 91.2%. Meanwhile, SCC Virtual Preparatory Academy was at the bottom of the list, with 46.3% considered ready for college.

There were a total of 651 students enrolled in St Clair County School District 12th-grade.
