Congressman Robert Aderholt announced staff changes in his Washington, D.C. office, including a promotion and two new appointments. Stone Griffin has been promoted to Policy Analyst, while Lucy Allen and Sam Chance have joined as Press Assistant and Staff Assistant, respectively.

“Each of these individuals brings unique experience, energy, and a heart for service that reflects the values of Alabama’s Fourth District,” stated Congressman Aderholt. “I’m proud to welcome Lucy and Sam to our team and to see Stone continue to grow in his new role.”

Griffin, originally from Winchester, Virginia, graduated from the University of Virginia. Previously serving as Staff Assistant in Aderholt’s office, his experience includes working with Representatives Greg Pence and Jen Kiggans. “It’s an honor to continue serving Congressman Aderholt and our constituents in this new capacity,” Griffin expressed.

Lucy Allen, from Florence, Alabama, will assume her role as Press Assistant following her graduation from Auburn University, where she pursued a degree in Public Relations. She had interned in the Congressman’s office, gaining experience in legislative tasks, communications, and Capitol tours. “I am grateful to be joining Congressman Aderholt’s staff,” Allen remarked. “Starting as an intern last summer and now being part of the team full-time feels really special.”

Sam Chance, a resident of Arab, Alabama and Samford University graduate, is the new Staff Assistant. His background spans legal and nonprofit work, including roles at Heninger Garrison Davis, the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, and Pine Cove Ranch. He served on the Student Judiciary Council during his university years. “Being in this office has already been such a blessing,” said Chance. “I have seen firsthand how our staff consistently goes above and beyond.”

These appointments highlight Congressman Aderholt’s commitment to forming a team dedicated to serving Alabama’s Fourth District.
