The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office announced on May 11 that community events took place in Ragland and Pell City, including the Ragland Block Party and Logan Martin Lakefest 2026.
These events are significant for fostering engagement between law enforcement and residents. Community gatherings such as these provide opportunities for public interaction with local officials, strengthening trust and communication.
Sheriff Billy J. Murray attended the Ragland Block Party alongside Dusty and Lieutenant Slezak, highlighting the department’s presence at community functions. The Logan Martin Lakefest 2026 also saw participation from members of the sheriff’s office throughout its duration.
By participating in these activities, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office aims to support positive relationships within the county. Officials say their involvement helps ensure a safe environment while allowing citizens to interact directly with law enforcement personnel.
Continued engagement through similar events is expected to further enhance connections between residents and local authorities.
